Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021 as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In that role she will cover all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin was born into the sector of space, as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has covered space policies under Biden and Trump administrations for FOX News. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases and the presidential campaign for 2020, and the two administrations' attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other topics. The extensive trips she took with the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan that she made with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before joining the CBS network. She was awarded one Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as the CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Utilizing her expertise in front of the camera Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds earned a Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she received from Boston University. She and her husband, who is three years old, daughter live in Washington, D.C.
